At the end of this month, we’ll hold our first every Club outing to the Circle 7 Ranch on the Fall River in northern California. This 26 mile long spring creek meanders through the Fall River Valley and is loaded with wild trout. Using boats, we’ll search for pods of trout. We’ll cast dries to risers, drift nymphs under indicators and swing soft hackles and leeches. There are some large trout in the Fall and with 12 of us going, we’re hoping for some trophies.
