Sespe Fly Fishers (Ventura) Club will be at the Topa-Topa Event!

The Sespe Fly Fishers is one of the featured organizations and featuring casting with Earl Arnold and Tom Hall. Fly tying Demonstrations by Dennis McCarty and Lee Baermann, and an information booth with Chris May and Steve Schalla.

There will be many outdoor adventure organizations & businesses, but the Sespe FF Club hopes to share the sport of “fly fishing” to the public- and this is a fundraising effort for the Channel Islands Park Foundation.

The Sept 25th meeting will focus on the status of our relationship with Cal Trout and the Koehler Winery relative to helping Southern Steelhead in the Santa Ynez valley via the removal of the barrier at Koehler. 

We will discuss the most recent info from Russell Marlow, the Cal Trout Southern region Project manager. 

We'll also discuss in more detail our responsibility to the project, Cal Trout and the Winery as a partner in the barrier removal project. 

We may also discuss other observations of steelhead in the creeks that run through Santa Barbara & Goleta.
