Pre-meeting "MINI-CLASSES"

Monthly Mini-classes are held for year long fly-fishing education

and may consist of casting, fly-tying, knots, gear, fly-fishing basics

and other various skills for fly-fishing success & enjoyment

Time: 5:30pm to 6:45pm (before the club meeting)

Facilitators: Lori Lee Collins & Larry Basham

Guest instructors will be assisting or leading!

These classes are free & open to club members and the public!

TWO OPTIONS:

Beginning Casting:

Learn how to safely put a rod together and take it apart
Put on a reel (right or left handed?) & best way to run line through the eyes
Casting a loop, start & stop, pick-up-lay down cast

Casting Skills Development:

Try the FFI Bronze Level casting course
Cast to targets: 25, 35 & 40 foot distances
Roll cast to 25 feet
