Hi Lorenz, You should know that we all have trouble at times fishing our local lake on the fly. I too have struggled flyfishing there, but have done a bit better the more I fish it. My best advise would be to fish structure around the edges of the lake and try using small streamers and nymphs. You may have some luck using small poppers on the surface, but you will find subsurface better this time of year. In the end the fish have to be willing to participate to make fishing more interesting. Best of luck to you!

I've just join the club and I would like to find a source for information on fly fishing the pan fish in Lake Cachuma, I've been fishing there for many years, but only recently started fly fishing. So far on fly fishing, no luck, although I do get fish on my trolling gear. So I can find them I just don't know how to fish them with my fly gear. Any suggestions?
